Choir includes 21 fully playable presets, offering a wide range of expressive vocal tones across Alto and Soprano ranges.
6 Alto presets: Ah, Eh, Ih, Mm, Oh, plus a dedicated Shorts preset.
5 Soprano presets: Ah, Eh, Ih, Oh, plus a dedicated Shorts preset.
These articulations give you the flexibility to shape rich, dynamic, and realistic choral arrangements. An additional Whispers preset introduces a soft, airy texture that adds a beautifully delicate dimension to your music.
All Alto and Soprano presets feature four layers, with each layerâs volume assigned to the modulation wheel (CC#1). Simply move the mod wheel on your MIDI controller to shape expression and dynamics in real time.
The Shorts presets include eight articulations per key. As you repeat a note, the articulations cycle automatically, creating natural, phrase-like variation for an expressive and fluid performance.
The Alto and Soprano presets are also available in Vector versions, powered by Soundboxâs Vector engine. These presets smoothly blend all four layers, creating an evolving sense of movement within each sound. In Vector presets, the modulation wheel (CC#1) controls both the individual layer volumes and the EQ High Gain in the Master tab, giving you expressive control over tone and dynamics.
For the Vector presets, each of the four layers has a slightly staggered attack time, creating a softer, more gentle response when you play.

Each layer is fully adjustable with ADSR, effects, modulation, arpeggiator, and a versatile vector pad for morphing through layers with various vector shapes. Plus, you can quickly tweak volume, panning, and solo/mute layers on the main page, giving you total control to sculpt the soundscapes to suit your project. Once you've perfected your setup, save your unique presets using the intuitive and easy to use browser.
Adding new packs to Soundbox is a breeze! Head to the User Sounds menu, enter the preset and pack manager, click Import, and select the downloaded Soundbox Pack (.sbpack file) and you're done!
Important: Kompose Audio Soundbox packs work fully with the Soundbox player, except for the Sample & Mapping editor, which is for importing and editing your own sounds. To unlock this feature, enter the license key from any Audiomodern Soundbox instrument in the settings tab. Once unlocked, it stays active forever and includes free lifetime updates.
